June - July 2026 South East Asian Journey (Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos & Thailand)

It began in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Accompanied by Dr. Saniaysnain Khan Sahab, we visited the Jame Masjid, where we discovered CPS Qurans displayed in multiple languages. Brother Zaharin Ali kindly provided us with valuable contacts in Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand.

Our next stop was the Masjid Negara, the national mosque, which houses the department maintained by volunteers. We were impressed by the CPS Quran translations available for pickup at no cost. The widespread distribution of the Quran in Malaysia and other East Asian countries is a testament to the dedication of Fahim bhai and Irshad Sahab. Above are some photos from our Malaysian trip

Our second destination in the June-July 2026 South East Asian journey was Singapore. Accompanied by Dr. Sahab, Haroon Shaikh, and Haroon Adam, we paid a visit to the Sultan Mosque. Here our Qurans were already being distributed there, and we also met a new volunteer who expressed enthusiasm for large-scale distribution. In the evening, Idris Sahab visited us and presented a business model for distribution to Haroon Shaikh Sahab. The plan will be implemented soon. Below are some photos from our Singapore trip.

Our South East Asian Quran sharing journey in June-July 2026 took us to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Alongside Dr. Sahab, Haroon Shaikh, and Haroon Adam, we stayed at a hotel conveniently located across from the central mosque. Dr. Sahab and I later met with the Imam of the central mosque, Masjid Ibrahim, and the President of the Islamic Society of Vietnam. We shared our purpose with them and presented a Vietnamese translation of the Quran published by Goodword Books. They responded positively, and we plan to ship a large quantity of Vietnamese translations for large-scale distribution, insha Allah. Below are some photos from our trip to Vietnam

My journey continued in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, as part of the SEA Quran sharing journey June-July 2026. Upon arrival, I was received by Ustad Sufyan, his nephew, and another brother at the airport. We proceeded to the Central Mosque for Friday prayers, followed by lunch. Later, we visited an Islamic outreach foundation where we met friendly and dedicated individuals. They reviewed our Khmer translation and, although they mentioned it required significant improvement, they provided us with their own Khmer translation without Arabic. We plan to publish their translation and distribute a large quantity. Cambodia has a relatively small Muslim population of 5-8 percent, but the people are humble and receptive. The government imposes no restrictions, making it an ideal environment for our distribution work.

Alhamdulillah, I'm grateful for the opportunity to share my experience with Quran distribution in Thailand. In Bangkok, I successfully arranged for the distribution of the Quran in both Thai and English languages. I was fortunate to meet a group of incredibly helpful individuals who took charge of clearing shipments, storing, and distributing them to various NGOs, hotels, and more. They even offered to receive shipments of Quran translations in Lao and Khmer languages and transport them to Laos and Cambodia. It's clear that Allah SWT brought these individuals to me to support our Quran sharing project. May Allah bless and reward them abundantly. Ameen. Here are some photos from my interactions with them.
