Our first stop was the Grand Mosque of Compiègne in northern France. We also visited another mosque in Compiègne, which has a school for children, and met with several people who are interested in da’wah. In France, we met our distributor, Mr. Salim Bensheba, who is based in Paris. He was very cooperative and agreed to store French Qur’an stock in his warehouse, from where it can be shipped to any location in France. Having this stock stored with him is a great blessing. Once it is in place, it becomes worthwhile to travel back to France to introduce copies for da’wah to mosques in towns across the country. The same campaign should then be extended to the rest of Europe, delivering copies of the Qur’an to each country in their own languages.

After visiting the Compiègne mosques, our next stop was Mosque Badr, located at 33 Rue Winston Churchill, 80080 Amiens, in the northern part of the city in the Amiens Nord area, a little over 2 km from the cathedral. At Mosque Badr, we met several people who were very receptive and ready to receive and distribute Qur’ans. We met the following people at Badr Mosque.

The following day, on September 15, we visited Masjid AnNur in Arras, France, on our way to Belgium. Here is a small glimpse of inside the Mosque.

Later on the journey, on our way from Paris to Amsterdam, we stopped at four mosques. At the first three, we did not find anyone interested in Qur’an distribution or da’wah work. By Allah’s help, we found a warm response at the fourth mosque, a Turkish mosque, where people showed great interest in receiving copies of the Qur’an. We also met a few Pakistanis there, and they were very enthusiastic about da’wah work as well.

Next stop was Rotterdam, and after that we visited Delft. At the mosque named Masjid al Nasser, we met an Egyptian imam named Imam Hassan. He had read Al‑Islam Yatahadda and was surprised and pleased to meet us. He was very kind and introduced us to a PhD student at Delft University named Ahmed, whom we later met at the university. Ahmed told us that he is already ordering Qur’ans from us and that they have a dedicated group of students who do street da’wah and receive Qur’an requests through their website, including from India. We had a very good discussion with him and hope that his group will begin distributing Qur’ans on a much larger scale, reaching across much of Europe, insha Allah.
