February 2026 - Book Launch Ceremony - Chennai- India

A book launch ceremony for two Buddhist books was held in Chennai under the auspices of the Tripitaka Tamil Foundation. The books are based on the life and teachings of Gautama Buddha. The event took place in the meeting hall of the Anna Centenary Library.


The Chief Guests at the ceremony were the Consul General of Thailand, Mr. Racha Aribarg, and the Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka, Mr. Ganesanathan Geathiswaran. The CPS Chennai team was also invited to the event. Mr. Faiz Qadri and Khateeb Asrarul Hasan Umari attended as guests. The first copy of the books was released by the Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka and was received by Mr. Faiz Qadri.


At the conclusion of the program, CPS literature was presented as a gift to the two distinguished foreign guests, who graciously accepted it. Several prominent personalities of the city were also present at the event.


It is noteworthy that the CPS Chennai team has been regularly participating in the programs of the aforementioned Buddhist organization for the past several years.
