Maulana Wahiduddin Khan’s Legacy Enters Boston Area Through a New Hub to Promote Peace, Dialogue, and Spiritual Growth.

WALTHAM, MA (April 13, 2026) — The Center for Peace and Spirituality USA (CPS USA) today announced the opening of its new Massachusetts location, expanding its mission to promote peace, spirituality, and interfaith dialogue.

The new center, located at 391 Totten Pond Road, Suite 402 in Waltham, will serve as a gathering place for individuals of all backgrounds to explore spiritual ideas, engage in meaningful conversations, and participate in educational programs designed to foster understanding and coexistence.

“Our goal is for people to learn about the spiritual and peaceful message of Islam and be introduced to the thoughts and literature of our founder, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, a world-renowned Islamic scholar and decorated peace activist,” said Asad Pervez, who directs the CPS USA Boston center. “We work towards changing the impression people have of the Quran from a ‘Holy Book of the Muslims’ to ‘A Divine Revelation and Guidance for Humanity.’ This is exemplified in Quranic verses like 41:34, which teaches us that by responding to negativity with goodness, we can turn even an enemy into a close friend.”

Pervez added that the center’s programs are designed to help individuals deepen their connection with God, cultivate a positive outlook on life, and develop the mindset needed to navigate modern challenges while contributing towards building a peaceful society.

"Maulana Wahiduddin Khan used to say, ‘A negative mindset is shaped by history; a positive mindset shapes history,’” Pervez noted. “The focus of our literature and sessions is for people to deepen their connection with God, have a positive outlook on the world, manage their lives—finding personal contentment—and learn to live with differences as contributing and peaceful members of society. “The center plays the role of a location where we can invite people, showcase our efforts, have meaningful conversations, and introduce them to the spiritual approach of Islam.”

CPS USA is a nonprofit, non-political organization dedicated to promoting peace and spirituality through interfaith engagement. Drawing inspiration from the Quran—the preserved word of God—and the Sunnah, the teachings and practices of the Prophet Muhammad, the organization seeks to share the spiritual principles of Islam as a faith rooted in peace, tolerance, and coexistence.

As the official U.S. representative of Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, CPS USA advances his lifelong mission of fostering peace, spirituality, and harmony among diverse communities. The organization distributes millions of free Quran translations globally with the intention of addressing misconceptions and improving the perception of Islam in the world.

The Waltham center will also host study circles and interactive sessions for youth, women, men, and community groups. These programs are open to all and require no prior preparation, encouraging participants to reflect on spiritual themes and engage thoughtfully with broader questions about life and purpose.
